Our Story

In 1932, Seamus Drayne and his two brothers Aidan and Dermot started Draynes Farm, on the Glenavy Road in the heart of the countryside. Our enterprising forebears saw a market opportunity in the developing town that was on their doorstep. They started deliveries on horse & cart, with fresh farm milk straight from the churn. We have been dedicated to all things dairy for over 90 years - the farm buildings and production technologies have moved significantly - but our passion for producing great milk, from happy cows remains the same!
